The PL-900 exam and the qualification
Microsoft does not give specific details about the PL-900 exam. However, there are probably between 35 and 60 questions to be completed in around 60-90 minutes.
To pass the exam, you need a scaled score of at least 700 (out of 1,000). Be careful about what this means. A ‘scaled score’ is not exactly the same as the number of marks but takes factors into consideration such as the difficulty of the question.
After passing the exam, you will gain the qualification “Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals”. The PL-900 is not a prerequisite for other exams. However, it is very useful as a springboard for the more advanced exams.
