OVERVIEW
This course is the App Maker foundation for the Microsoft Certificate PL-200 ‘Power Platform Functional Consultant’. It focuses on the various apps which make up the Power Platform – Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate – and how they can be used by other programs, apps and services.
Learn how to:
- Design business solutions.
- Manage environments.
- Create apps.
- Configure Microsoft Dataverse.
- Create flows, chatbots, and reports.
- Describe models.
On completion, you will have a good introductory knowledge of Power Platform and the capacity of the different apps. You may wish to take the Part 2 PL-200 course.

WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
No prior knowledge is required. However, completing the PL-900 course would be an advantage. We’ll show you how to get a free Power Platform trial.
Regular quizzes support your learning.
Windows 7 SP1 or above required or, for other machines, an internet browser (preferably Chrome or Edge) to access most of the apps used in this course.
Windows 8, 10 or 11 is required to access Power BI Desktop, although Power BI Services can be accessed on other devices.
