OVERVIEW
This course covers the essential requirements for the Microsoft Certificate PL-200 ‘Power Platform Functional Consultant’ exam. It is the follow-up to the PL-200 Part 1 course.
Learn how to:
- Configure Microsoft Dataverse.
- Manage solutions.
- Create a Power Pages website.
- Call Power Automate flows from canvas apps, Virtual Agents, and Power BI alerts.
On completion, you will have a solid understanding of Power Platform Functional Consultant. You may wish to take the official PL-200 certification exam.

WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
Prior knowledge of the PL-200 Part 1 course is expected as this course is designed as a follow-on. Students should have an existing knowledge of canvas and model-driven apps, flows (including business process flows), Power BI visualizations, reports and dashboards, adding tiles, and adding canvas apps to a Power BI dashboard.
Regular quizzes support your learning.
Windows 7 SP1 or above required or, for other machines, an internet browser (preferably Chrome or Edge) to access most of the apps used in this course.
Windows 8 or 10 is required to access Power BI Desktop, although Power BI Services can be accessed on other devices.

- Configure modern commanding, and describe Power Fx.
- Use the Notify Power Fx formulas for commands.

POWER AUTOMATE
- Create business process flow.
- Manage the business process flow table for a business process flow.
- Work with the Dataverse connector.
CLASSIC WORKFLOWS
- When to use a classic workflow, including synchronous classic workflow.
- Create email messages and signatures.

- Use email templates in a synchronous classic workflow.
- Troubleshoot classic workflows and manage workflow logs.

- Create and explore a portal app.
- Configure portal web pages and navigation, and adding components.
