Extras – PL-300

Save 15% on your Practice Tests or Assessments

Congratulations for completing our PL-300 Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst course.

What is a good way to prepare for the PL-300 exam? Why not redo all of the quizzes and the Practice Test in this course.

After that, then please have a look at the MeasureUp.com Practice Test and assessment. However, how can you get a better price?

  • The below links will take you to the relevant MeasureUp.com page,
  • Adjust any options on the page as needed and click on “Add to Cart”,
  • In the Cart, enter the following into the “Apply Coupon Code” – idodata15 – and click Apply.

If you do this, then you should then see a 15% discount to your Practice Test and assessment.

Please note that the links on this page are affiliate links, meaning that MeasureUp.com will pay me a small commission. However, because I am an affiliate, not only should this not affect the price you pay, I am able to offer you the Coupon Code “idodata15“, which should give you an even better price.

This discount can also be used when there is a sale on MeasureUp. If (for example) there is a 30% reduction on a Practice Test or assessment, then you can get a further discount by using this coupon code.

What do I use? As I do 3 or more Practice Tests a year, I subscribe to the Annual Subscription Plan. Once you have subscribed, you will access for all of MeasureUp’s practice tests from Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, AWS, Python Institute, ITS, ISC2, Ethical Hacker and PMI.

Don’t forget to use your coupon code idodata15, as this works with annual subscription plans as well.

Not going to take 3 practice tests over the next 12 months? Then just take the one Practice Test or assessment. But what is the difference between them?

The MeasureUp.com PL-300 Practice Test has over 150 questions. In addition to knowing whether you got the answer right or wrong, you will also get detailed explanations as to why the options are correct or not. These tests are also repeatable, so you can do them multiple times over a period of 30 days, 60 days or one year until you get over 90% of them correct. This is something I buy prior to taking any exams as, in addition to testing my knowledge, I can also get used to the style of questions.

We recommend the Practice Test if you are going to do just this one exam. You can do the Practice Test as many times you want for 30 days (for an additional cost, you can extend it to 60 or 365 days, or you can download it onto your computer). If you get 90% or higher twice in Certification mode, MeasureUp will also reward you with a digital badge, which you can post on social media on LinkedIn, Facebook, and X.

An alternative way is to take a MeasureUp.com PL-300 Assessment. It is useful if you only want to know how many questions you can currently get correct. However, even though it is a lot cheaper, the Practice Test is a much better way to prepare for the test. The assessment only includes 30 questions, you can only use it once (or twice, with an additional charge), and there are no explanations provided as to why answers are right or wrong. That is why I recommend the Practice Test above instead.

Don’t forget to use the coupon code idodata15 for both the Practice Test and Assessment – you will save 15%.

Additional ways to prepare for the PL-300 exam

To prepare for the PL-300 exam, you should check that you know all of the topics listed for the exam. To check this, go to the Microsoft PL-300 exam page and click on “Review the PL-300 study guide”. You can then see all of the suggested topics for the exam. A copy of this is also included at the end of Section 1 of our Power BI video course.

If you would like to read articles about the topics, then scroll down further on that webpage to the Learning Paths. There you will see several modules which you can work through. However, do make sure that they cover the topics in the exam, as they can be out of date.

You can also read the our PL-300 course as much as you would like. However, we know that some students buy courses from additional providers, to provide additional ways of learning. If you would like additional e-learning, then please look at the MeasureUp.com PL-300 CertKit. It includes 365 days access to online elearning, tips and information. It also includes the Practice Test for 60 days after its first use.

The exam requirements and how to schedule the exam

To see the exam requirements, please go to the Resources section in our course, where you can download a copy. Alternatively, go to Microsoft’s PL-300 Study Guide. Microsoft checks the requirements every couple of months, to ensure that they are up-to-date.

To schedule the exam, please go to the Microsoft PL-300 exam page and click on “Schedule exam”. You can then schedule the exam with Pearson Vue, either in person at a test center, or online. If you are doing your test on line, then you will need a webcam, an internet connection, a private, distraction-free place, and a government-issued ID.
